About Screenshot Detective
Screenshot Detective presents the aftermath of a small cartoon mystery. A tipped glass, a wet robot, or a startled pet provides evidence about what happened. Inspect three clues and arrange four event cards into the timeline that explains the scene.
How to play
- Inspect the illustrated scene and open its three evidence clues.
- Drag event cards into order, or move them with the up and down buttons.
- Test your theory and revise any misplaced events.
- Watch the reconstruction after solving a case, then continue through all five.
Scoring and challenges
Each case starts at 100 points. A wrong theory costs ten points and a hint costs five. Solve all five cases for a maximum of 500 points.
Questions about the game
How many mysteries are included?
There are five authored mysteries. A new challenge changes their order and the starting arrangement of the event cards.
Can I rearrange cards without dragging?
Yes. Each card has up and down buttons so you can rebuild the timeline with keyboard or touch controls.
