An anti-feed
The Quiet Feed
Every feed you know is built to get louder the longer you stay. This one is built backwards. Keep scrolling and it thins out, softens, stops shouting — and then it ends.
↓ Scroll. It gets quieter, not longer.

That's the end of the feed.
There is no more.
Nothing will load if you wait.
You can close the tab now. Nothing here is keeping score.
About This Feed
Every feed is designed with the same goal, which is to still have you at the end of the session. The mechanisms are well known by now: infinite scroll so there is never a stopping cue, counts on everything so each post carries a small social weight, and an escalating supply of whatever kept you last time.
This one inverts all of it. It starts by imitating that noise almost exactly, then removes it piece by piece as you scroll. The engagement counts fade out. The avatars shrink and vanish. The typeface itself changes, from a tight screen sans to a loose book serif, and the posts get shorter until they are single words. Then it stops, because it has a bottom, and reaching the bottom is the point.
How To Use It
- Scroll as you normally would. Fast is fine; that is how you usually do it.
- Notice roughly where you stop skimming and start reading. It happens to almost everyone, and always in the same stretch.
- Keep going to the bottom. It takes about two minutes.
- Then close the tab. Nothing here wants you back.
Why This Exists
Because the problem was never the content, it was the shape. A feed with no bottom removes the moment where you would naturally have decided whether to continue, and once that moment is gone you do not stop so much as eventually get interrupted.
So this is an argument made in the form of the thing it is arguing about. It is a feed you can finish. That is a very small idea, and it is faintly startling how unusual it has become.
One honest note, since this page deals in calm: it is a two-minute toy, not treatment. If scrolling is genuinely eating your sleep or your mood, a doctor or a therapist will help far more than a webpage, and it would be dishonest of this one to imply otherwise.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Quiet Feed?
It is a feed built backwards. It opens looking like every other feed, loud and crowded with counts and urgency, and then it thins out as you scroll. The posts get shorter, the colours warmer, the type calmer, and eventually there is nothing left but breathing.
Does it ever end?
Yes, and that is the whole point. It has a bottom, and reaching it is the goal rather than a failure. Nothing loads when you get there, nothing suggests another one, and it does not ask you to come back tomorrow.
Are the posts real?
No. Nothing here is a real post, a real account, or a real number. The early ones imitate the shape of feed noise rather than any actual content, and the later ones are just observations. Nobody is being quoted and nothing is being reported.
Why does the writing change as I scroll?
Because the design is the argument. At the top the typography is a user interface, tight and busy and set in a screen typeface. By the bottom it has become a page, generously spaced and set in a book typeface, and the noise it started with has fallen away completely.
Is this a substitute for help with anxiety?
No. It is a small, pleasant thing that takes a couple of minutes, and it is not treatment. If scrolling is genuinely affecting your sleep or your mood, a doctor or therapist will do far more for you than a webpage, and this one would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise.
Is anything tracked or saved?
No. There is nothing to save. Nothing you do here is stored on your device or uploaded anywhere, there is no account, and there is no way to come back to a place you left off.
